Coconut Beach is located just out the front of Gurubeblla Village which is nestled between Midi-Gama and the slightly larger town of Welligama in Sri Lanka's beautiful southern province.

Being tucked away from the main road it's peaceful laid back vibe is a favourite for surfers, travellers and families alike.

The village offers plenty of variety in terms of accommodation and restaurants and the Surf itself is some of the most consistent in the area.

The beach offers a fun left, a wedgy peak and a right locally known as plantations and is only a short Tuk Tuk ride away from the dozens of other waves along Sri Lanka's famous surfing coastline.
